Mechatronics engineers work in the manufacturing sector, especially in industry, and are highly sought-after specialists. They design, install and configure mechatronic components, devices and systems, put them into operation; draw up technical documentation, maintain and check, replace defective or faulty components and retrofit obsolete systems. As a mechatronics technician, you are a mechanic and an electronics technician in one person.
