Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our products and services. The protection of your personal data during processing throughout the entire business process is an important concern for us and we want you to feel secure when visiting our website.
In the following, we will explain what information we collect during your visit to our website and how it is used.
Personal data Personal data is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your real name, your address, your telephone number and your date of birth. Information that is not directly related to your real identity - such as favorite websites or number of users of a site - is not personal data.
Collection and processing of personal data When you visit our web pages, our web server temporarily stores the connection data of the requesting computer, the web pages you visit on our site, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the web page from which you visit us, by default for the purpose of system security. Additional personal data such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of a registration process, for the performance of a contract or a request for information.
Use and disclosure of personal data We use the personal data you provide exclusively for the purpose of the technical administration of the websites and to fulfil your wishes and requirements, i.e. generally to process the contract concluded with you or to respond to your enquiry.
Only if you have given us your prior consent or if you have not objected - insofar as this is required by law - do we also use this data for product-related surveys and marketing purposes.
Your personal data will not be passed on, sold or otherwise transferred to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract or you have given your express consent. For example, it may be necessary for us to pass on your address and order data to our suppliers when you order products.

Use of cookies As a rule, we do not use cookies on our websites. Only in exceptional cases are so-called session cookies used, which store data for technical session control in the memory of your browser. This data is not personal and is deleted at the latest when you close your browser. Should we exceptionally need to store personal data in a cookie, we will obtain your express consent in advance. Furthermore, we would like to point out that browsers usually have functions for managing cookies.
Security We take all necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. For example, your data is stored in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public. In certain cases, your personal data is encrypted during transmission using so-called Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). This means that communication between your computer and our servers takes place using a recognised encryption method if your browser supports SSL.
Should you wish to contact us by e-mail, we would like to point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted is not guaranteed. The content of e-mails can be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that you send us confidential information exclusively by post. Data exchange (CAD data) can then also be carried out via Odette.
Right to information Upon written request, we will inform you which data we have stored about you (e.g. name, address).
Contact If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data, you can contact us, also in case of requests for information, suggestions or complaints, we will be at your disposal.
Online presences in social media We provide online presences within social networks in order to be able to communicate with interested parties and users active there and to inform them about us. User data may be processed by the service provider outside the European Union. This may result in risks for the users, because, for example, the enforcement of the rights of the users could be made more difficult.
As a rule, the service provider processes the users' data for market research and advertising purposes. For example, the interests of the users resulting from their usage behaviour can be used to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that could correspond to the interests of the users. Cookies are usually stored on the users' computers for this purpose. In addition, data can also be stored in the usage profiles regardless of the devices used (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).
In the following, we inform you about the processing of your personal data carried out by us in the context of the online presences provided by us. In its ruling of 5 June 2018, the ECJ confirmed the joint responsibility of the service providers and the page operator. The social media site you visit offers you the opportunity to respond to our posts, comment on them, create a user post yourself and send us private messages with personal concerns. The data you provide in this context and which may be accessible to us (e.g. user name, pictures, interests if applicable, contact data) will be used by us exclusively for the purpose of customer and interest communication. It is in our interest to offer you a platform on which we can display up-to-date information and with the help of which you can address your concerns to us and we can respond to your request as quickly as possible.
LEWA Attendorn uses photos and video recordings for marketing purposes on social media platforms. Included personal data will only be processed with the consent of the person concerned. The legal basis for the processing of the data recorded is Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO. Data subjects have the option to have the stored data deleted at any time. The data subject will receive information about the personal data stored about him or her at any time. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or consent is revoked.
We do not carry out any further data processing apart from the basic functions by means of the site. Please note that the service provider may use tracking tools as well as cookies, regardless of our use of the site. For a detailed description of the respective processing and the possibilities of objection (opt-out), we refer to the information of the providers linked below.
In the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights, we would also like to point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers. Only the providers have access to the data of the users and can directly take appropriate measures and provide information. If you still need help, you can contact us. Newsletter dispatch service provider The newsletter is dispatched by means of the dispatch service provider HubSpot, 2nd Floor 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland. You can view the terms of use and privacy policy of the shipping service provider here: www.hubspot.com/terms-of-service and at www.hubspot.com/privacy-policy. The shipping service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and an order processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 sentence 1 DSGVO. The dispatch service provider may use the data of the recipients in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimise the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties. Newsletter tracking The newsletters of the LEWA Attendorn GmbH contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic that is embedded in such e-mails that are sent in HTML format in order to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This allows a statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, the LEWA Attendorn GmbH may see if and when an e-mail was opened by a data subject, and which links in the e-mail were called up by data subjects. The newsletter tracking is used on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Such personal data collected via the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored and evaluated by the controller in order to optimize the newsletter dispatch and to better adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the data subject. Data subjects are entitled to revoke the declaration of consent in this regard at any time. After a revocation, this personal data will be deleted by the controller. The LEWA Attendorn GmbH automatically regards a withdrawal from the receipt of the newsletter as a revocation.
