The metalworker has something of many professions and is oriented towards the industrial and construction mechanic as well as the machining mechanic. This 2 or 3 year training occupation is for people with a disability for whom training in a recognised training occupation is not possible due to the nature and severity of their disability. Technical understanding and manual skills, as well as a good physical constitution are good prerequisites for this profession.
